二、用法
主語從句是在復(fù)合句中充當(dāng)主語的從句,通常放在主句謂語動(dòng)詞之前或由形式主語it代替,而本身放在句子末尾。
1. It 作形式主語和it引導(dǎo)強(qiáng)調(diào)句的比較
①主語從句常用it作形式主語,一般常用句型為:It is+{名詞/形容詞/過去分詞}+主語從句例如:
It is still a question whether she will come or not.
It is strange that you should like him.
It is still unknown which team will win the match.
另外,還有一些比較多見的結(jié)構(gòu):
It turned out that……;
It has been proved that……;
It happened/occurred that……;
It is well-known that……等等
、诙鴱(qiáng)調(diào)句則不同,它的'結(jié)構(gòu)是:It+be+被強(qiáng)調(diào)部分+that+從句
強(qiáng)調(diào)主語:It is the times that produce their heroes.時(shí)勢(shì)造英雄

2. 用it 作形式主語的結(jié)構(gòu)
(1) It is +名詞+that從句

(2) it is +形容詞+that從句

3.主語從句不可位于句首的五種情況
(1) if引導(dǎo)的主語從句不可居于復(fù)合句句首。
(2) It is said , (reported) …結(jié)構(gòu)中的主語從句不可提前。例如:
It is said that President Jingo will visit our school next week.
(3) It happens…, It occurs… 結(jié)構(gòu)中的主語從句不可提前。例如:
It occurred to him that he failed in the examination.
(4) It doesn’t matter how/whether …結(jié)構(gòu)中的主語從句不可提前。例如:
It doesn’t matter whether he is wrong or not..
(5) 含主語從句的復(fù)合句是疑問句時(shí),主語從句不可提前。例如:

4. What 與that 在引導(dǎo)主語從句時(shí)的區(qū)別
What 引導(dǎo)主語從句時(shí)在從句中充當(dāng)句子成分,如主語.賓語.表語,而that 則不然。例如:
What you said yesterday is right.
三、賓語從句用以區(qū)分主語從句的幾個(gè)特征
1、引導(dǎo)詞:what which whose when whet herif where
2語序:賓語從句必須是用陳述語句。(名詞性從句都是陳述語序)
如:I think that you must work harder.

【一般過去時(shí)】
1. 一般過去時(shí)的定義
一般過去時(shí)表示過去某一時(shí)候或某一段時(shí)間所發(fā)生了的事情或存在的狀態(tài)。常與過去時(shí)間yesterday, this morning, just now, a moment ago, in May, last night / year / week, once upon a time, the other day, before …, when – clause, in the past連用。如:
What did you do yesterday? 昨天你干了什么?
I met Lin Tao this morning. 今天上午我會(huì)到了林濤。
I was there a moment ago. 剛才我在那兒。
2. 一般過去時(shí)的應(yīng)用
(1) 表示過去某時(shí)所發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或存在的狀態(tài)。如:
Liu Ying was in America last year. 劉英去年在美國。
Jim rang you just now. 吉姆剛才給你打了電話。
(2) 表示過去經(jīng);蚍磸(fù)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作。常接時(shí)間副詞often, usually, always, sometimes, every day / week, etc. 如:
We often went out for a walk after supper. 我們過去常在晚飯后散步。
We usually played together. 我們通常一起玩。

一般過去時(shí)的謂語動(dòng)詞要用動(dòng)詞的過去式。動(dòng)詞過去式的構(gòu)成分規(guī)則變化和不規(guī)則變化兩種形式,不規(guī)則變化通常需要逐個(gè)記憶,規(guī)則變化則遵循以下原則:
(1) 一般在動(dòng)詞后加-ed。如:play—played, offer—offered, weigh—weighed, destroy— destroyed, sign—signed.
(2) 在以字母e結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞后,只加-d。如:like—liked, provide—provided, hate — hated, date—dated。
(3) 在以“輔音字母+y”結(jié)尾的動(dòng)詞后,則改y為i,再加—ed。如:supply—supplied, fly—flied, study— studied.
(4) 在以單短元音的重讀閉音節(jié)結(jié)尾且,末尾只有一個(gè)輔音字母的`動(dòng)詞后,雙寫最后一個(gè)輔音字母,再加-ed。如:plan—planned, refer—referred, regret—regretted, ban—banned.
4. 特別說明
有些動(dòng)詞的過去時(shí),如:expect, hope, intend, plan, wanted 等一般過去時(shí),后接不定式的完成時(shí);或它們的過去完成時(shí)接不定式的一般式,都可表示過去未曾實(shí)現(xiàn)的意圖、打算或希望。如:
I hoped to have been invited to his wedding party. —I had hoped to be invited to his wedding ceremony. 我本希望他來邀請(qǐng)我參加他的婚禮。
I intended to have joined their games. —I had intended to join their games. 我本打算參加他們的比賽。

一、不定式做主語:
1、不定式做主語一般表示具體的某次動(dòng)作。===動(dòng)名詞doing 表示習(xí)慣的,經(jīng)常的動(dòng)作。
e.g: To finish the building in a month is difficult.
To do such things is foolish.
To see is to believe. (對(duì)等)
注: 1). 不定式作主語時(shí),謂語用單數(shù)
2). 當(dāng)主語較長,謂語較短時(shí),常用it做形式主語,而將不定式放到謂語的后面。
it做形式主語,不定式放在謂語動(dòng)詞之后常用于下列結(jié)構(gòu)中:
(1)It is/was +adj.+of sb. to do…
(2) It is +adj.+for sb.+to do…
It is easy / difficult / hard / foolish / unwise / right / wrong / unnecessary
(3) it is +a +名詞+ to do...
It is a pity / a pleasure / a pleasant thing / one’s duty / an honor / a shame / a crime / no easy job… to do
It takes (sb.) some time / courage / patience …to do…
It requires courage / patience / hard work… to do…
注意: probable 和 possible 均可作表語,但possible可以用不定式作真實(shí)主語, 而probable不能用不定式作真實(shí)主語。
It is probable for him to come to the meeting.(錯(cuò))
It is possible for him to come to the meeting.
It is possible / probable that he will come to the meeting.
二、不定式做表語
主語是以aim duty hope idea intention plan job suggestion wish purpose task 等為中心詞的名詞詞組 或以 what 引導(dǎo)的.名詞性從句表示,后面的不定式說明其內(nèi)容, 不定式作表語常表示將來或現(xiàn)在的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)。
eg :My idea is to climb the mountain from the north.
Your mistake was not to write that letter.
What I would suggest is to start work at once.
三 、動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語
以不定式結(jié)構(gòu)為賓語的動(dòng)詞有:
ask, agree, care, choose, demand, decide, expect, fail, help, hope, learn, manage, offer, plan, prepare, pretend, promise, refuse, want, wish等只能用動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語
