　　I began to like English when I entered the senior high school. I owe it to my English teacher who has stimulated my great interest in learning English and then influenced my future, and whose name is Zhang Yanshu----a name I will keep in my mind forever.She showed great love to us which is deeply appealing to our heart. Different from other teachers, she has never been impolite to us. Oppositely, she treated us equally. She made efforts to attract us to the world of English, to understand the beauty of the language and enjoy the cultures of the foreign countries. With her skillful help, the students in our class took great interest in this course and improved rapidly.She was kind and patient. She did not mind the students' slowness in learning new knowledge, but it did not mean that she was not strict with us. To make what we had learned strong, she often asked us to recall the knowledge in class. This was also a method to examine the homework she had assigned. 　　英語老師，是使我受益最多的老師。

　　老師姓羅，身高中等，相貌平平，一雙有神的眼睛卻為他增添了光彩，讓人看到那雙眼睛便不由自主地被他眼中的光亮所吸引。他手上總是拿著一根小棍，一尺來長，不為打人所用，唯一的用處就是在上課時敲擊幾下講桌，將我們從下課時的散漫拽回到上課的專注。

　　羅老師與其他老師不一樣，他很好說話，人也是溫和慈愛的。他是四川人，說著帶著方言的普通話，可讀英語時卻是聽不出方言來的，發(fā)音很標準，也是令人驚奇了。

　　我小學(xué)時，英語成績十分拿不出手。我曾經(jīng)將英語視為我平生最痛恨的學(xué)科，甚至一度放棄英語。枯燥無聊的abc，分不清的單詞拼法和各種語法讓我手足無措。可是，羅老師的出現(xiàn)為我點燃了希望。

　　羅老師講課前，總是要先講單詞的。本來記憶力不錯的我每天跟著讀，也可將我最厭惡的字母背下來。但是因為基礎(chǔ)差，介詞、動詞什么的一概分不清。老師在上面講課，坐在下面的我腦袋里一團懵，禁不住將這些疑問脫口而出。老師頓了一下，便看著我的眼睛，放慢語速，細細地講著，直到我眼中的疑惑消失，做出恍然大悟狀，他才放心一笑，對我輕輕點點頭，繼續(xù)講下面的'內(nèi)容。

　　照這般學(xué)下去，英語成績漸漸轉(zhuǎn)好，后來竟至突飛猛進。這讓原本對英語深惡痛絕的我轉(zhuǎn)變了態(tài)度，原來英語也不是那么面目可憎嘛，由此更是對這位負責(zé)的老師心生感激。

　　i will never forget my first chemistry teacher. he was a little man with thick glasses, but he had a strange way of making his classes lively and interesting. and his lessons were not easily forgotten.i still remember one of my lessons from this teacher. after the students were all in the lab, the teacher brought out three bott[es. one was filled with petrol, one with castor oil and one with vinegar. "now watch carefully," said the teacher.

　　he then filled a cup with some of the petrol, some of the castor oil and some of the vinegar. as the students watched him quiet[y, he mied the three together. after that, he held up one of his fingers and showed it to the class. he then dipped it into the cup. after a few seconds he took his finger out. "now watch," he said. "remember, you must do every thing as i do."he put a finger in his mouth, tasted it and smiled, looking rather pleased. then he handed the cup around the class of students. each student dipped a finger into the miture and sucked it. instead of smiling, each of them made a face. the miture tasted terrible.

　　when the cup was at last returned to the teacher, he said sadly, "i m sorry, none of you watched carefully enough. yes, i sucked a finger, but the finger i put into my muth was not the one i had dipped into the cup."it was my first important lesson as a student of chemistry and i never forgot it.
